SciKeys Supports the Digital Transformation at Damascus University

جمعية مفاتيح العلوم تدعم مسيرة التحول الرقمي في جامعة دمشق

In a practical step reflecting its commitment to developing the educational environment in Syria, the SciKeys Association contributed to the success of a digital transformation training course for teaching staff at Damascus University. The course was held in collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Center, and supervised by Dr. Mohammed M. Abu Shquier, Vice President of Jerash University in Jordan.

Technical and Logistical Support for Training

The training activities took place on Thursday within the halls of the Faculty of Tourism at Damascus University. The course included a theoretical section to introduce the capabilities of the university’s new e-learning platform, alongside a practical application session.

Driven by the goals of the “Access Points (TechnoRise)” program, SciKeys provided the necessary laptops and logistical support, enabling the teaching staff to directly apply their training on the platform.

High-Level Academic Praise

The association’s participation received widespread positive feedback and official coverage by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). Furthermore, Dr. Mohammed M. Abu Shquier, Vice President of Jerash University and the training supervisor, highly commended the association’s effective role.

In a public statement, Dr. Abu Shquier praised the efforts of the SciKeys team, emphasizing that the provision of technical equipment was a fundamental pillar in the success of the training program. Such testimony from a distinguished international academic figure reinforces confidence in the association’s ability to build strategic partnerships.

Field Efforts and High Volunteer Spirit

This achievement would not have been possible without the relentless field efforts of the SciKeys team in Damascus, who overcame various logistical challenges. Special thanks go to the Joint Supervision Manager, Eng. Marwa Alsharif, and our outstanding volunteers: Eng. Nour Sharouf (for managing technical support), Eng. Sham Sheikh Jaber (for logistical preparation), and Dr. Shahd Al-Hilal (for professional visual documentation).

Be Part of the Change

SciKeys Association affirms that this activity is an ongoing step towards building a comprehensive technical ecosystem that serves Syrian academic institutions and students through sustainable projects.
