Reinforcing its vision to connect Syrian academic and professional talents at home and in the diaspora, SciKeys Association announced the launch of its latest strategic program, “Specialized Clubs (HubRise)”, serving as a scientific incubator that gathers researchers, students, and experts around specific engineering and scientific fields.
The (HubRise) program aims to provide independent specialized platforms that contribute to knowledge transfer, study academic and industrial needs, and transform research into evidence-based practical solutions and recommendations. It also provides an interactive environment that supports students’ career paths and opens broad horizons for international and local collaboration.
Energy Economics and Policy Club (EEPC): The First Specialized Club
Crowning this initiative, the association announced the establishment of the Energy Economics and Policy Club (EEPC) as the first specialized working group launched under this umbrella.
The establishment of the club comes in response to the significant technical, economic, and institutional challenges facing the Syrian energy sector. The club aims to:
- Build a cohesive professional community: Bridging generations and bringing together engineers and experts from Syria, the Syrian diaspora, and other countries.
- Exchange reliable knowledge: By holding monthly hybrid meetings, specialized lectures, and discussions in Arabic.
- Provide independent analysis: Working on issuing specialized publications and recommendations that contribute to the development of the energy sector in a sustainable and future-oriented manner.
- Establish long-term projects: Focusing on scientific research, modeling, and partnerships with universities and international institutions.
An Open Invitation for Collaboration and Participation
Work within the club is characterized by its voluntary and independent nature, with free participation available to all interested students, alumni, and researchers.
SciKeys Association invites all universities, specialized organizations, and companies to collaborate and build strategic partnerships. It also welcomes new members who wish to actively contribute to shaping the future of energy in Syria.
