Energy Economics and Policy Club(EEPC)
The EEPC connects students, researchers, engineers, and experts from Syria, the Syrian diaspora, and other countries. Its members work collaboratively to exchange knowledge, assess needs, and develop evidence-based solutions for the future of Energy in Syria.
Connecting Knowledge, Developing Impact
The Energy Economics and Policy Club is a multidisciplinary special interest group operating under the umbrella of SciKeys Association.
Background
The Syrian energy sector faces significant technical, economic, and institutional challenges. War damage, weak infrastructure, lack of investment, limited education and training opportunities, and a lack of reliable data hinder sustainable development.
At the same time, Syria possesses enthusiastic students, experts at home and in the diaspora, renewable resources, and great potential for scientific and international cooperation. The club provides a continuous academic framework that brings these capabilities together.
Vision
To build a strong professional community that bridges generations and connects internationally, translating knowledge into practical benefits and contributing to the development of the Syrian energy sector in a reliable, sustainable, and future-oriented manner.
Mission
The club connects professionals and those interested in energy engineering, economics, and policy. Through meetings, lectures, working groups, and projects, it promotes knowledge transfer between Syria, the diaspora, and international partners.
